We Launch Our 2025 Sustainability Report

We share our 2025 Sustainability Report, in which we report on our environmental, social, and economic performance over the past year.

The document also incorporates our purpose — Forging a positive legacy for future generations — and shows the progress made toward our 2030 sustainability goals, linked to climate change, biodiversity, circular economy, local development, gender equity, safety and health, among other topics.

During 2025 we represented 1.3% of Uruguay's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and accounted for 6.9% of the country's goods exports on average over the last three years. We also generated more than 6,000 jobs across our value chain and worked alongside more than 2,100 supplier companies, 81% of which are Uruguayan.

We closed the year with 608 direct employees, 93% based in the interior of the country, and more than 3,100 contractor workers who are part of our operations.

In productive terms, we produced 22.6 million seedlings in our nursery, planted more than 15,600 hectares, harvested more than 4.6 million cubic meters of timber, and produced more than 1.44 million tons of prime-quality cellulose at our industrial plant.

We also continued strengthening our bimodal logistics system, comprising 51% river transport and 49% land transport, which made it possible to avoid 23.4 million kilometers of road traffic. In addition, we generated 100% clean and renewable energy, equivalent to 7.6% of the total energy produced in Uruguay.

"This report helps show something that can sometimes be hard to grasp day to day: that behind every result there is a great deal of work and many people doing things right so that the company can produce, contribute to the country, and to the communities it is part of. For me, that is the value of this document: not only to organize information regarding our economic, social, and environmental performance, but to show that behind the figures there is commitment, a purpose that drives us, and a way of working together with others that we want to keep nurturing going forward," said our General Manager, Diego Wollheim.

Productive Integration and Local Development

We continue driving a productive integration model that generates opportunities and shared value across different parts of the country. We currently maintain agreements with 330 producers who incorporate forestry on their properties.

In addition, more than 280 producers carry out livestock activity in areas linked to our operations, with around 36,000 head of cattle. We also support the development of more than 6,000 beehives for honey production and the participation of around 450 families in mushroom harvesting.

Training and people development remain a priority. During 2025 we delivered more than 160,000 hours of training aimed at employees, contractors, and the community, as well as more than 87,000 hours of occupational safety and health training.

Among the notable educational initiatives is Rebrote, which enabled 16 people to complete their basic education cycle. We also continued driving Yo Sigo, our educational continuity program, which saw the participation of 344 students from Conchillas, Ombúes de Lavalle, and Guichón. We also held a new edition of Inglés para Todos, with 27 students from Conchillas, including two graduates who traveled to England as part of an educational exchange.

15 Years Since Our Establishment in Conchillas

This year we also incorporated into the report indicators related to the 15 years since our establishment in Conchillas.

The data shows a positive evolution in the locality, with a 15% increase in population, a 20 percentage point growth in educational attainment, a 10-point improvement in formal employment, and 70% of those surveyed stating that the community's economic situation has improved.

Environment, Conservation, and Community

On the environmental front, we recovered value from 66% of our non-hazardous waste and achieved an 8% reduction in our scope 1 and 2 emissions compared to our baseline, advancing toward our 10% reduction target for 2030.

During the year we incorporated our ninth High Conservation Value Area and celebrated the 25th anniversary of Bioparque M'Bopicuá, a benchmark space for biodiversity conservation in Uruguay.

Our relationship with communities continued to grow through various initiatives. More than 8,600 people visited our industrial plant, nursery, logistics terminal, bioparque, and forestry properties as part of the Montes del Plata Te Recibe program. In addition, 1,010 students took part in talks at educational centers, and we visited more than 800 neighbors and local stakeholders through the Buen Vecino program.

We also achieved positive results in FSC® audits and obtained PEFC recertification of our forest management, along with international certifications in quality, environment, safety, and laboratory.

During 2025 we also received the Sustainable Management Seal granted by the Unión de Exportadores del Uruguay and LATU, authorization to use the País Brand, recognition as one of the largest goods exporters from the Free Trade Zone, and distinction by Merco as the company with the best corporate reputation in our sector.

Through this report we renew our commitment to responsible, transparent, and long-term management, convinced that economic development, environmental care, and the generation of social value must advance together to build a better future for coming generations.
